Evi dolls are handcrafted with the finest natural materials and close attention to detail. These waldorf dolls are filled and nicely padded with pure soft wool, have all-cotton skin, hair of soft wool, mohair, or cotton, and cotton clothing. Evi waldorf dolls are handcrafted in Brazil.

Evi Dolls are made by the Atelier de Bonecas Evi in Brazil. It began its work in 1988 as a small business that had as its objective the teaching of handicrafts to single mothers from poor families. While making educational Evi waldorf dolls in their own homes, they could go on with their housework and take care of their children. The intention was to allow them to develop a worthy and creative work that allowed the mothers to stay at home with their children.

After some time, people with disabilities who were not adapted to the demands of the job market were also included. The Evi doll production grew, mainly due to exports to Germany, Canada, and the United States, which demanded a lot of dedication from the artisans. The social task was accomplishing its goal. The Associacao Benificente Parsifal was founded in 1991 dedicated exclusively to children and adults with special needs. The Atelier de Bonecas Evi continued the work with women artisans. The women are paid fair wages, and the Atelier also helps the women in other ways to secure stability for their families. Many of the women have worked there since it started, and it has made a real difference for them and their families.
