The first Kathe Kruse doll was lovingly made with a potato for the head. This potato inspired the famous Waldorf dolls of today. Waldorf dolls have simple features allowing the child to be more creative and less restricted in play. Kathe Kruse offers more than just Waldorf dolls. Their product line includes a whole section for baby - towel dolls, warming pillows and more. Kathe Kruse products are still made in Europe.
